Western Province - Cape Town Surf Riders supported by Xcel wetsuits just WON SA SURFING CHAMPS!
The winners took home four Gold Medals! Thanks to the 9 finalists as well as all the committed parents and management who made it all happen.
Liam Wood of Cape Town Surfing Academy, Hout Bay and head coach of W.P says over the 7 days he was overwhelmed to be part of such a special community
“Our surfers worked seriously hard over the duration of the contest. They were up and ready to train at sunrise and pushed on until dark. We as a team really focused on strategy throughout the contest and looked very closely at each individual's weakness and strengths bringing the best out of each surfer. It all paid off in the end” said Liam Wood.
Out of the 24 man team - 17 surfers come from Liam’s Cape Town Surfing Academy.
